Recap: Rex was coerced by the Boss of Chicago to embark on a cross-country expedition to kill the Baron of Beverly Hills. To assure compliance, Rex was injected with a toxin that will kill him and everyone he comes in contact with unless he receives the antidote in the next 365 days. The Boss has partnered him up with an old flame, Tatiana Katana, who’s also been injected with the toxin. About an hour outside Chicago, they were stopped by the Glamazons, a road gang that Tatiana ran with.
This week: Rex would do himself a favor if he kept his mouth shut once in a while.
Behind the scenes: Jason knocked it out of the park with the colors on this page. The best part? I asked him if the electric blue highlights on Rex’s jacket in the last panel were due imply that he’s still got the electricity coursing through him. Jason confirmed it. Brilliant!
